Formula
There are several formulas for estimating 1RM. Here are a few:
Brzycki: weight * (36 / (37 - reps))
Epley: weight * (1 + 0.0333 * reps)
Lander: (100 * weight) / (101.3 - 2.67123 * reps)
Brzycki: weight * (36 / (37 - reps))
Epley: weight * (1 + 0.0333 * reps)
Lander: (100 * weight) / (101.3 - 2.67123 * reps)
Interpretation
The one-repetition maximum (1RM) is the maximum weight you can lift for a single repetition with proper form. It's used to assess strength and plan training.
